m2fx support BICSI in Docklands
19th January 2012
m2fx, the British fibre optic manufacturer with a reputation for innovation, will be presenting a one hour training session to network designers at the BICSI Breakfast Club on 23rd February 2012 in the Docklands Museum, London.
RCDDs, and other BICSI accredited professionals, are required to undergo continuous professional development in order to stay abreast of industry developments and technologies. m2fx will be delivering one of the two accredited training sessions that are planned for the day. The session will touch on hot topics, such as; Single Mode verses Multimode and introduces fibre cable technologies and trends. It is intended to be interactive, informative and to be of particular interest to those that are involved in the network design process.
m2fx has a strong track record in the development and production of highly innovative fibre optic solutions. The company’s products can be found across the globe and are in used locations as diverse as 3500m below sea level in submarines, and high in the stratosphere in fighter aircraft. Recently m2fx has turned its attention to addressing key issues encountered in the data communications arena. To that end, it has produced an ultra-compact, ultra-light and ultra-tough fibre optic cable that is proving a great success with IT managers and installers. m2fx Technical Director, Dave Stockton, put together the session, he says “we are very pleased to be able to support BICSI and look forward to engaging with network design professionals at the event. We are keen to learn more about the issues they encounter in their work”.
